To make a heart-melting day for our dad is very challenging especially when they are a not-so-expressive type of person. Like a child who wants to show how dear our father is to us, Father’s Day is the best special day to make everything count.

Our chance on the third Sunday of June, Father’s Day 2021 should not be missed. We may not be good cooks but there are restaurants that will handle this challenge for us.

Planning the Best Father’s Day

Every year, lots of establishments, from grocery stores to resorts, have their ‘Father’s Day Promo’. This year, we’ve specifically curated a list of activities and cuisines that will bring you a memorable al fresco celebration.

Here is the menu that you’ll be excited about when you arrive at the resort before lunchtime:

Once you are at the resort, the venue will be the “Corral Pavilion” of the resort. You will be guided by the kind personnel of the resort to the buffet. Entrance is free for anyone who dines in. The buffet is cheap as well. Only for ₱750 per head.

Warm-up your taste buds, tummy and nose with the Pinoy Salad that promises freshly picked vegetables from the Malagos Homegrown Produce. The signature and special Traditional Soup served to warm up that cold tummy from the cold breeze of nature. The ultimate food to open up one’s appetite is Sinuglaw or Pork Sisig.

Once you get your appetite up the best part of the buffet is you get to pick your own main course paired with our favorite rice, be it Pandan rice, Adobo Fried Rice (served on Saturday only) or Sisig Fried Rice (served on Sunday only).

The main course would be Grilled Chicken Inasal (served on Saturday only) , Roasted Chicken (served on Sunday only) Grilled mixed seafood. But that isn’t enough for our dad’s taste. The buffet also has a Street food station also grilling Tuna and Squid Skewer. To add a touch of healthiness, steamed vegetables and bagoong is also available as a side dish.  

To make everything special the classic Lechon Belly Roll, slowly roasted in an oven to create that crispy skin and moist meat inside soaking up the sweetness of lemongrass, garlic, and special herbs hand-picked from their garden.

Deserts are also available like Sapin-sapin, Palitaw, Suman, Turones with a chocolate fountain to dip in Crackers, Banana chips, Marshmallow, Fruits skewer (Sat only), and Toasted Bread (Sun only).

And Finally Push down all those gratifying foods with Iced tea, Dalandan Juice, Lime water or a Hot coffee. Sitting bolt upright with unbuttoned trousers with satisfied bellies. 

After Lunch

After the meal and light talk. You can also enjoy a little stroll in the park. The resort offers amazing arts of architecture and landscapes all great for pictures, amusement, education, and more light talks.
