Birds Will Miss The Best Veterinarian In Mindanao

We all have a role to play in preserving and saving our environment. Let's make every single day count and do our part in saving the only planet that we live on. Dr. Bo Puentespina Jr., has always advocated on preserving and saving our environment. He expresses his advocacy through his works and deeds as a veterinarian.

To his colleagues he showed the importance of the environment through his special craft on wild life care at the Philippine Eagle Center. To the big community Dr. Bo expressed the importance of birds in our ecosystem and the significance of our actions in preserving and caring for our environment. Garden wedding venues in Davao City has made a big mark for this contribution of Dr. Bo.

Dr. Bo. has always shown a very jolly, generous, and humble good person of God. Remembering the legacy he has left on the best Bird Show the whole Mindanao has to offer, here are some of the fun parts that would mark Dr. Bo’s passion in his bird show.

The Malagos Bird Show is not just a showcase of our feathered friends doing tricks and flying around. Well, of course there are awesome tricks and they’re pretty amazing. Most of them revolve around important topics like pollution, climate change, social responsibility and disaster management.

Wildlife Conservation

Aside from the amazing tricks the birds could do, wildlife protection is one of the issues highlighted during the Malagos bird exhibition. Pamana, a monkey-eating eagle freed from the Philippine Eagle Center, was shot a few years ago, according to press reports. After three years of care for a gunshot wound, the charity released Pamana back into the wild. Locals discovered Pamana's decaying body on the forest floor two months after its release in the Mt. Haguimitan Forest Reserve.

Ecological Equilibrium

The Malagos bird display underscores the need of animal conservation in maintaining ecological equilibrium. Dr. Bo said that severely endangered Philippine eagles are in charge of maintaining the equilibrium. He also highlighted that they, like all other animal and bird species, must be protected. The Philippine Eagle Center is a short distance from Malagos Garden Resort.

Pollution and Climate Change

The Malagos Bird Show also draws our attention to the critical issue of pollution and climate change. Dr. Bo said that birds eat fish, and when waste ends up in the water, the birds mistake it for fish. The Malagos Bird Show addressed the necessity of safe rubbish disposal in a very simple way.

The bird show also addressed concerns such as harsh weather and uncertain weather patterns. For example, one segment of the comedy depicted how global warming affects both humans and animals. The presentation emphasized the need of being more attentive and proactive. That is, we must plant trees and protect resources that are rapidly decreasing, such as clean water and air.

Disaster Management

Disasters in the Philippines cause tremendous loss of lives and property. The Malagos bird show stresses the need for good information distribution. Early warning and evacuation plans are equally important in saving lives during natural disasters.

All of these difficulties and lessons are presented through role plays with various types of birds such as owls, doves, macaws, ducks, and an ostrich. The Malagos bird display is truly something that everyone, not just children, should watch and learn from. It's a program where you may interact with the birds and take part in the talks.

These ideals and art that Dr. Bo has been gracefully handed down to his son and to the staff of Malagos Garden Resort as well. Hopefully, one day, the bird show will once be open again and Dr. Bo will have it in his sight with a smile on his face.
