Symbolisms of Christmas At Malagos
Christmas Lights
There's a reason why Christmas lights are such a huge part of the holiday season! Lights are an important symbol in the symbolism of Christmas because Jesus came into our world to be the Light in the darkness. God himself took part in the first light show, sending a swarm of angels to proclaim the birth and illuminating the night sky in front of a field of stunned shepherds. Then there was the star over Bethlehem, which the wise men followed in pursuit of the Messiah or future king.
So, when you are walking around Malagos Garden Resort gazing at Christmas lights, remember the best Christmas present we all received, Jesus' birth. Keep in mind that Christmas honors the birth of Jesus, "the Light of the World," and how that Light transformed the darkness in your life!
Stars
The Christmas star represents the star of Bethlehem, which directed the three kings, or wise men, to the newborn Jesus, according to the Biblical tale. The star is also a celestial indication of a long-forgotten prophecy, as well as a beacon of hope for humanity. We all see stars everywhere in all resorts in Davao City area. At the resort it is full of them. This placed the hope that at least one of those stars would become a place where you would enjoy the most.
Candles
A candle, which is a reflection of starlight, is also a symbol for the star of Bethlehem. Prior to the invention of electric Christmas tree lights, families would use candles to illuminate the tree. In addition, two additional festivals during this season share the significance of candles and light: Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights in Judaism, and Kwanzaa, an unification celebration of individuals displaced throughout the African diaspora, when one candle of the kinara candle holder is lighted over seven nights.
