Unli Samgyupsal At The Koi Cafe

Every Sunday night for the month of September, the koi Cafe will transform to a Korean themed restaurant. Unli samgyupsal open for dine will be served. You may enjoy unli pork, beef, shrimp, rice, side dishes, iced tea, and lettuce best for samgyupsal fresh from the Malagos farm. Aside from that, Davao’s korean noodles chap chae will be served together with 3 bowls of soup.

Korean samgyeop-sal is a popular Korean dish that is typically served as an evening meal. It's made out of thick, fatty slices of pork belly flesh. The meat is normally not marinated or seasoned and is grilled on a grill at the diners' table. Typically, people broil their own meat and eat directly from the grill. It is usually served with ssamjang, veggies, and lettuce leaves to wrap it in.

The dish resembles bacon, but it is not cured like bacon, therefore the flavor is much different. It tastes considerably more earthy and like pig cutlets than bacon. In any case, the flavors are wonderful, and the experience is intuitive.
