The feeling of being able to simply enjoy the moment and living quietly in the corner of nature is something you’d no less than say “perfect.” It is a time to think and pause for a while. It is a pause in order to fully soak in nature. Walk through shaded forests and bask in the sound of rustling leaves and melody of singing birds. 

Mr. Julius R. Paner says that: Yesterday our birding group THE BIG YEAR DAVAO has forged a partnership agreement with Malagos Garden Resort (MGR) for its Bird Watching and Bird Conservation program. The main intention is to raise awareness on biodiversity conservation through birding-related activities within and out of MGR. Since we started as mere bird watching participants 3 years ago, this partnership with MGR is perhaps one of the best things that ever happened to our group. The name BIG YEAR is patterned after a 2011 movie about chasing life lists in a year, usually done by bird enthusiasts all over the world.

In order to take a step forward as stewards of nature, Malagos Garden Resort took the initiative to develop what we all know now as “Birds in the Wild” a bird watching activity developed to let everyone have a closer experience with nature. It is a time to simply let go of everything you are thinking of and dwell in the silence and joy in finding wild birds. 

Ms. Ling Urdaneta Cernias-Tejor says that: We should rejoice in the fact that God loves us unconditionally and We give Him praise and thanksgiving for His faithfulness. We are forever grateful to God for the gift of life that He has given us and His love is the only thing that will last forever.

Always be rejoicing, pray constantly, give thanks for everything. This is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
