For the past years, we at the Malagos Garden Resort have always celebrated Kadayawan with you. Tagged as Davao City’s best festival, we made sure to make this celebration extra fun and exciting for you. We offered special discounts for our overnight stay and let you enjoy our one-of-a-kind chocolate spa experience. We also decorated each room a little more festive than the usual to ensure that we keep the festivity of the event. From our local bazaars in which you enjoyed the fresh bounty of Davao City with our vibrant colored flowers, fresh homegrown fruits and vegetables, all the way to a scrumptious Davao themed buffet paired with enriching cultural performances, you have let us share this celebration with you. 

Called as Kadayawan which came from the root word “Madayaw” which means something valuable and superior, it is a celebration to give thanks to the bounty in harvest and serenity of living the land has bestowed upon us. Deeply rooted from our ancestors, this celebration has always been celebrated with gratitude. 

If the onset of the pandemic did not happen and the Kadayawan Festival 2020 was pushed through, these days you would have already started planning your itinerary for the long weekend, buying sunblock and umbrellas if you want to enjoy watching the Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan and the Floral Float Parade, and by now, absolutely looking forward to the search for the Hiyas ng Davao 2020.
